Alone In Her Home Diorama-shadow box-art assemblage-periwinkle blue wall decor-cottagecore art-country cottage
 
This box is 6 x 6 x 1.5". I washed it in a distressed medium and painted it a shade of periwinkle blue. The inside back of the box contains its original colors of blue, green, and white. I added ceramic tiles, two tree of life cabs, two haind-painted mushrooms, little plants, glass mosaic tiles and rhinestones. In the middle is a piece I originally made as a necklace but, decided to put it to use instead and added little pieces to the top and bottom. The little house is trimmed in burlap rope. 
 
This is a girl who enjoys her home and doesn't mind being alone. She is surrounded by things she loves and things that are alive. It's a little piece for those who love cottagecore with a unique twist.
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. This piece can be hung with the sawtooth hanger on back, but can stand upright all on its own. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue. 
Please do not pull on objects, as they can be removed with enough force.
