Citron Vanille Perfume Oil - pure citrusy lemon vanilla with crushed meadow mint.
This scent is exactly as the name states. I’ve wanted to create a lemon vanilla perfume for a very long time now. The scent is reminiscent of many years ago living in the Pacific Northwest and taking trips to Vancouver, B.C and the mountains of Washington State and Oregon. There used to be a little shop tucked away up in the mountains of Washington State and the inside of the shop smelled like citrus and vanilla during the springtime. It was a must to go linger in that shop just to suck up that blissful combo.
Citron Vanille is more lemon than vanilla and the vanilla is not a bakery vanilla note. Argentinian lemon provides an invigorating partner, alongside the vanilla. Just to break up the pair, and introduce a minor hint of a note, is crushed mint, like the kind you’d use to make meadow tea. It isn’t strong though. Fresh lemon peels and vanilla come to mind and a feeling of enhanced cheerfulness when wearing because of the memories involved. Uplifting, stimulating, and comforting.
