Day at the Beach Diorama. - Shadow Box - assemblage art - sunshine wall decor - coastal art -beach mixed media - vintage toy pieces. 
 
I painted this 6 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 2 1/4 box a vivid coral shade. It's lined with four tiny mermaids and the box itself is lined with mixed pieces of fabric and trim. I purposely left the holes open so fairy light can be hung inside it, if wanted. Inside the box are vintage toy characters, a big sunshine ceramic piece, tiny red dolphins, acrylic seashells and a turtle. There's a little resin beach fence with a surfboard and a beach sign. I placed tiny caviar beads to represent the water and surf bubbles. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. This piece can be hung with the sawtooth hanger on back, but can stand upright all on its own. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue. 
Please do not pull on objects, as they can be removed with enough force.
