Eternal Perfume Oil - green fig, chocolate, green amber, and milk. The chocolate note in this is dark.

This scent got the name 'Eternal' because one, it contains two notes, chocolate and fig, that my mother loves, and two, because a mother's love is eternal. My mom personally loves anything and everything that is chocolate. I like chocolate but, she loves it. Whenever she makes something sweet to eat, it's usually some form of chocolate. Chocolate cake, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies all come to mind.

During the summer, ever since I can remember, whenever we visit my uncle's house, Mom picks figs straight off his tree and eats them standing right there. Now, we usually pick them each summer from a dear friend's tree since my uncle passed. He'll call us and tell us when they're ready. Usually, I place them insdie whatever hat I'm wearing at the time.  Foods with made with fig are among my faves.  My son and I both have a passion for fig preserves and fig jelly.

The green fig differs from darker colored figs. The darker ones are usually a bit sweeter but, the green ones are the kind widely used in recipes and such. There's more of an herbal scent to the green. However, it is a bit difficult for the common person to differentiate between varieties of figs because there are over 700 species in the 'fig' family.

Amazingly, these two scents, chocolate and fig, combined are mouth-watering. If you've never tried figs before, place a tad of fig preserves, jam, or marmalade over some good brie, with a dollop of pesto sauce, warm in the microwave, and afterwards dip warm bread in it. In the back of my mind, I'm now working on an edible recipe for a chocolate and fig combination.
