Green Christmas Diorama-Christmas colors art assemblage-angel brooch-holiday miniatures.
 
This 6 x 4 x 1" box started out unfinished and I painted it a bright Christmas green and lined it with cabochons and buttons in varying shades of green, red, and white. Inside the box is an upclycled vintage look angel that I'd once made into a necklace. Three tiny houses sit aside a mini snowman and paperstock nutcracker. A miniature enamel Santa is in his sleigh atop one house. Christmas bells, holly, and more sparkle in this box while a tiny angel flies above. A nice gift for someone who enjoys Christmastime.
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. It can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back or sit freestanding.
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue.
