Halloween Treats Diorama-shadow box-little witches-black cat-old fashioned halloween art
 
This little 5 x 5 x 1" box started out unfinished and I painted it a bright Halloween orange and lined it with various shades of purple, green, crystal clear, and black tiny rhinestones with a winged eye pin on the top. Inside are vintage looking ornaments from old style Halloween that I upcycled and embellished. Candy corn, a pumpkin, a jack-o-lantern, a ghost, and a cat with a purple sheen also mingle together with the little boy and girl witch. They are waiting to see what kind of treat they draw from their hollowed out pumpkin. An upcycled bat flying in front of the moon pin is up top to add a little mystery to their evening. 
 
This would make a nice gift for those who love an old fashioned vintage Halloween theme. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. This piece can be hung with the sawtooth hanger on back, but can stand upright all on its own. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue. 
Please do not pull on objects, as they can be removed with enough force.
