Heaven Sent You Perfume Oil - ambroxan, Nubian Musk bursting with African florals and sunshine, sensuous sandalwood, oakmoss, energetic neroli, white tea, powder, and hints of bergamot, quiet rose, and honey.

This has been one of the most comforting scents for me. I’m literally sniffing my arm all day long. I’ve been wearing it to bed for its calming effect and still smelling it the next morning. It’s almost a scent where two different variables are in play at the same time. One, the softness of ambroxan and the warmth of rich Nubian Musk provide for extreme relaxation, along with the gentle note of powdered soft rose. Those notes are very calming and grounding. On the other hand, soft neroli and energetic orange blossom are invigorating and help with creativity. Bergamot and grapefruit are uplifting. The thing that’s tricky about ambroxan, is that it wears differently on each individual. On myself, it’s not so much about a certain fragrance, it’s more about an essence. Ambroxan is the main player in this scent.

This is the story behind Heaven Sent You. Because this has been such a calming scent for me, it’s a tribute to my best friends, fur babies, one in particular.

A few years ago, I went to get a pup and instead, wound up getting two. Someone had brought this little boy back because he had a cherry eye and they didn’t want him. What kind of person would do that? I was holding him, and whenever I went to put him down, he shrunk back into me. He didn’t want to be away from me, probably due to abandonment issues…ha. So, he came back home with me too. Ever since then, he has had a way of bringing me back whenever I’m experiencing anxiety, frustration, sadness, whatever.

I once took him with me when I had to take two of my sons to the airport in Baltimore, which is a couple hours away. I have this little bed I call the Hua hive (he's a Chihuahua) because he likes to go into it and it’s so small, he probably feels comforted and safe. After leaving the airport, map guide woman had me going completely away from where I needed to be headed, in the opposite direction, towards New York. Somehow, I wound up in downtown Baltimore in 5 o’ clock traffic. Everyone double parks there so, there’s no going around anything, nowhere to pull off, such as a gas station to realign. As soon as I became stuck, and started getting frustrated, my buddy came out of the Hua hive and sat beside me. Immediately, I could feel the anxiety subside. After a couple hours, and finally getting back on the interstate, he went back into the hive. No one can tell me animals aren’t instinctual. Much of the time, I think they provide more comfort than actual ordinary humans. So, this is who Heaven sent to me, my sweet little man, and all my many fur babies throughout the years.
