This is a natural wood diorama (7.5 x 5.5 x 2"). It has glass on the front so you can look inside at the diorama within the diorama. Inside the little cat sleeps on top of the small diorama, along with a pumpkin and a jar of foiled leaves. Inside the tiny diorama is a skull, some tiny jars filled with unusual things, and a little Paris cab. A key is on the outside beckoning people to come in. A couple other little jars with tiny beads inside and a couple pieces I made just for fun, are all watched by the owl up in the left corner. He keeps watch over the little home. I made him a window to sit on so he can look outside at the stars in the sky.
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. It can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back or sit freestanding.
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.
 
The box is equipped with a sawtooth hanger on back but, can sit freestanding on its own as well.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue. 
Please do not pull on objects, as they can be removed with enough force.
