Icy Perfume Oil - sunbaked coconut, with mint scents of cool peppermint, spearmint, and icy wintergreen, sugary winter fruits, cedar, amber, spicy carnation and hints of powdery winter rose, frosted ivy, sugar and vanilla musk.
This is summer meets winter, the best of both worlds.
One winter, we were stuck inside for the most part due to below zero windchills and frigid temperatures. Of course, the cold doesn’t stop me because it just brings forth a burst of pure happiness within but, due to being indoors more often than usual has inspired me to concoct this scent. I wanted a combination of icy winter mints but, intermingling with a hint of summer to remind me of being at the beach and outdoors. Strangely, I rarely ever want winter to end because it captures something truly magical.
People often say snow has no scent but, that’s just not true. It’s that non-scent that makes you think of many other fragrances combined when you’re out in the snow such as wood burning, bread baking, warm winter berry baked goods, and just the smell of being home. Most people don’t feel so strongly about winter as I do so I combined some warm toasty beach coconut to create that feeling past the rebirth of spring into the summer when you’re on the beach and all slathered up with coconutty suntan lotion and you’re baking in the heat and want some of that fresh wintry relief of mint that cools you off instantly.
Please note that ‘Icy’ is more on the cooler and frosty side of the spectrum though. My description would be pure frosty sugar, kissed by winter mints, with a hint of sunbaked white coconut. I enjoy using this in the summer months to get that tingling sensation of cooler skin. This scent is definitely for guys and gals alike.
