Island Whisper Diorama-shadow box-assemblage art-mixed media-felt flower
 
This 6 x 6 x 1.5" wood box started out unfinished and I painted it a bright shade of terracotta and topped it with a glass drawer pull. The outside is trimmed in small acrylic floral cabochons and within lies varying felted flowers, felt pom poms and an upcycled brooch. 
 
This would make a rare and unique gift for those who love island and oceanic colorful themes.
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. This piece can be hung with the sawtooth hanger on back, but can stand upright all on its own. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

It is not intended for small children.
The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue. 
Please do not pull on objects, as they can be removed with enough force. 
Do not use drawer pull to pick up the box. It is for decorative purposes only.
