Melon pan is a Japanese sweet bun. It would be the equivalent of, what we in the south call, a sweet cake, with a cookie type outer layer. This version of melon pan contains green matcha tea leaves. Whereas Iced Matcha Latte fragrance is a very vegetal agrestic, Matcha Melon Pan is a sweeter version of matcha. This scent is like a buttery sweet bread roll with the soft fruity nuance of honeydew melon and green matcha leaves tempered with coconut milk. Dark vanilla soaked sugar crystals are sprinkled on top. One small shake of black pepper is thrown into the mix, just like the batter for the bread. It’s a gourmand scent, on the verge of woods, peppered with cedar, yet very soothing.
