Inspired by the beautiful, whimsical little Russian nesting dolls, this scent is designed to entice the senses with the warmth of freshly baked goodies drizzled with caramel and cream, fresh from the oven. Pepper berry comes gliding in for a hint of spiced fruitiness, along with festive sugared fruits like the ones you find in a good Christmas cake or fruit cake. Cedar softens the scent for that added woodiness and the Sambuca, well that speaks for itself. It’s just a small amount of the licorice/anise note that can be detected.

A very dear friend of mine who is Russian, sent me a matryoshka doll a few years ago. My youngest son was fascinated with the mystery of taking each one out from the first and seeing a different piece smiling back at him from the next. I love seeing the different variations of these nesting dolls from all different countries. Each one is unique but, always reminds me of being a child, and finding wonderment in most every small detail of what some may find or think insignificant. This is the reason for the yummy ‘home’ scent that familiarizes in my mind, growing up in my Nanny’s home and all the wonderful aromas of her cooking baked goods throughout the holiday seasons.

Once again, this is another unisex fragrance that both men and women can enjoy, especially if you like gourmand scents.
