Milk Ghost Shiver Perfume - bitter chocolate, cayenne pepper, cinnamon sticks, vanilla milk, myrrh.
This is a scent based off a spicy, warm chocolate drink I like to make when the leaves start to turn and a slight hint of chill is in the air. All versions of hot chocolate appeal to my palate. This is not a milky chocolate, but more of a smooth silky chocolate with piquant cayenne pepper melted in a base of vanilla milk made with vanilla extract and crushed vanilla bean pod over a smooth note of myrrh. Although, myrrh is not in my actual drink recipe but, myrrh is a favorite paired with spices in scent. Since I’m the only one who likes to drink this spicy drink, it’s one I usually just simmer on the stovetop but, it’s excellent as a crock pot drink too, with evaporated milk added. If this scent was a color, it'd be raw sienna.
This is the message behind the scent. Trust your instincts. If you experience a shiver throughout your body that’s unrelated to excitement or good adrenalin, go with that vibe. Your body is trying to send you a message. But, do not be frightened or fearful of what may be, or not be. Your inner sense of self and your body reacts to stimuli and provides a natural radar. It’s your own free, personal protection guide. Practice not only listening to this “inner heart”, but actually hear what it’s telling you.
