Moxie Perfume Oil - violet, carnation, powder. Heavy on the violet and the carnation is spicy, very vintage-like. Other fragrance notes are jasmine, lilac, lily, rose, and a sparkling note all on a base of musk and spicy green galbanum with just a hint of vinyl for amusement.
With the exception of vinyl, these notes were very popular in the perfumes of the 1920's, 30's, and 40's. I remember finding old bottles of perfume from this era in my grandmother's drawer and putting a little on and instantly feeling classy. They still held their silage after many years. There's a bit of powder in this scent added for softness. It's very feminine and classic but, filtered for a new generation and always reminiscent of generations of old.
Moxie represents all those grand ladies who came before us and who left such a strong mark in their wake that they'll never be forgotten. More of today's women should have a little more "Moxie" and many of them do.
Moxie comes from the generation of my grandmothers and great-aunts. These women had it for sure. They may have been dirt poor but, they always had a classic fragrance and a tube of quality red lipstick on hand. These were women who, during WWII could model during the day and weld by night. They took chances and flew to California and lived for stints and dated and surrounded themselves with handsome men. Lots of men!

It's a mix of scents from yesteryear that still remain popular throughout today and will forever more.
