The dimensions of this box are 9 1/4 x 6 1/2 x 1". I painted the box bright apple green and lined it in multi-colored fabric trim. Each grid inside is painted a different shade of green. The box is trimmed with colorful rhinestones. Inside the box are assorted matryoshka nesting dolls. Some are stickers and the bigger ones are from old patches I've had for years to put on jeans but, never did. Little owl cabs, tiny animals, mushrooms and other hidden gems are within. 
 
I've always loved the various nesting dolls from different countries but, never had one until a Russian friend sent me one just a few years ago. 
 
This would be a fun gift for those who love colorful and vibrant matryoshka nesting dolls.
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. This box can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back or sit freestanding. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue.
