Old School Fragrance- 80's soft white musk, root beer float, whipped cream, suntan lotion, pink bubblegum.
Old School for me, most likely won’t be considered old school for at least 75% of people. Back in the day, my old school memories were of wearing that soft, almost white, musky skin scent. There was one in particular I favored and I went through several bottles of it. It was called “Moonlight Musk”. It had a black cap and an opaque glass bottle. If I could still find it, I’d load up on a few bottles. Even the name brand was obscure, from what I remember but, it smelled so good. We loved smacking away on our chewy pink bubblegum, which isn’t manufactured anymore either, not the single wrap ones. We went to the beach, slathered on suntan lotion or oil, without sunscreen, in those days. And whenever we had enough money for a root beer float, well, we knew exactly what local burger shop to go get the best. These are the scents that remind me of childhood into adolescence. And always, we had numerous pairs of huge chunky sunglasses. Mine were mostly black or red because most of my clothes were black, red, and white with all kinds of geo prints and fun themes.
This is a soft, smooth creamy scent of a root beer float, hints of bubblegum, and milky suntan lotion on a bed of light powdery, white musk. It dries down fluently to an almost pixie-like velvet scent on my skin.
