Pearl Christmas Tree Diorama-angel and cross shadow box-Christmas art assemblage-pearl theme home decor.
 
The dimensions of this box are 5 x 5 x 1". It has an oak stain underneath and then was given a distressed look. I then painted it in several shades of metallic, including gold, champagne, and more. The back side is splotched in varying shades of metalic. Inside is a little icy hand-painted wooden Christmas tree with pearl cabs and rhinestones. The theme of the box is pearl. An upcycled cross necklace is at the top, along with two little angels. 
 
This is a piece that could be displayed year round, especially if one likes pearl and metallic colors. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. It can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back or sit freestanding.
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue.
