This 5" x 5" shadow box represents a first crush, or first love. Remember being in elementary school and saving that extra special Valentine card for that person who had a little something that drew you towards them? I painted this box with a light peach color and it has a light coating of glitter interspersed on the outside and edges. Inside are little Valentine hearts with wording, along with other cabochons and ephemera. A small boy and girl with their little dog, stand in front of a paper stained glass window. The outside of the box is lined with small floral resin cabs. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. This piece can be hung with the rope hanger and it's also equipped with a sawtooth hanger on back, but can stand upright all on its own.  
 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small flaws or imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. 
 
This item is for home decoration only and is not a toy. 
It is not intended for small children. 
The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue.
