Purple Coffin Diorama-Halloween art assemblage-coffin mixed media art-upcycled jewelry
 
This coffin shelf is 13 x 6.5 x .75" with three shelves inside. I call the spider Esmeralda. The coffin is painted with purple and lots of glitter added throughout. Numerous pieces of upcycled jewelry lie within her, such as pieces of necklaces, charms, bracelets, and brooches. I made miniature perfume bottles and placed them throughout, along with a tiny bottle of magical green stars. You may spy two little owls, which were also necklaces at one time. 
 
This would make a one of a kind gift for those who love eclectic decor in their homes. It would make fun Halloween decor but, also suitable yearround. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. It can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back.
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue.
