Rebel Perfume Oil- green chypre, ambroxan, engine oil, rose, cedar sap, patchouli, metal, rubber tires and a leather jacket.
For the tough gal, the femme fatale, who’s not afraid to get her hands dirty. This scent is a green rose chypre, sharp and clean, yet rugged with dusky dustiness. It’s for a very powerful person who doesn’t mind being unique with notes of ambroxan, leather, rubber, motor oil, wood sap, metal, smoothed over with jagged edgy sugared rose, light patchouli, and dry earthy musk.
This is definitely a unisex scent for the tough at heart. On my skin I detect the faint hint of a sugared sweet rose, but it’s not a sweet scent. In the background there’s engine oil and metal, like one gets from changing the oil in a car. And good old rock music plays, Bon Jovi’s “Blaze of Glory” blaring out on a homemade cassette tape, followed by Guns N Roses “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door”. Then comes burnt rubber from spinning out while in route to destinations unknown, with the music of Led Zeppelin pouring through Sansui speakers (because we all know they had the best base and subwoofers) powered by a Pioneer stereo system (and of course mid-range speakers) with an Alpine amp. The notes dry down with a combo of wood sap on cedar and leather from a worn jacket. Not feminine, not masculine, but earthy urban.
The person who dares to wear this scent can go from rough and rowdy, playing with the big boys and in a moment’s time, be gentle as a feather lying on silk. The color of Rebel would be smoke dirty beryl green.
