Shadow Box Art - Beige Rustic Snowflake and Button - upcycled, mixed media, assemblage art, found object art, unique ooak gifts.
 
This box started as unfinished wood that I painted a matte shade of yellow beige. Several little wooden snowflakes are inside, along with several pieces from a broken bracelet and a golden cabochon in the middle placed into a jewelry brooch setting. Several old buttons and various pieces line the outside of the frame. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. This piece can be hung with the rope hanger and it's also equipped with a sawtooth hanger on back, but can stand upright all on its own. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue.
