Small Town Shadow Box Art - art assemblage, buildings, ceramic tiles, mosaic, upcycled art, village, handmade -hanging wall decor
 
This 9 x 6" box started out as unfinished wood I painted with a periwinkle blue shade. I lined the outside trim with glass tiles in blue, brown, light yellow, and peach. A contrasting pink drawer pull is placed on top for decoration. Inside the box are various purple, blue, and green ceramic tiles, pearl rhinestones, and flower cabochons. An upcycled box is in the middle with several painted houses in varying shapes and sizes. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. This is a freestanding piece but, can be hung with the sawtooth hanger on back. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.
 
This item is for home decoration only and is not a toy.
It is not intended for small children.
The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue.
DO NOT use drawer pull to pick the box up. It's for decorative purposes only.
