Spring Is Here Diorama-felted art shadow box-fairytale wall decor-gnomes-fairy doors.
 
The dimensions of this box are 14 x  8.5 x 2". I stained this box, gave it a distressed medium, and painted it a shade of spring green. On top of the box are two amber colored glass drawer pulls. Inside this box spring has arrived, bursting in a variety of colors with numerous felted balls and flowers, floral flowers, a handmade butterfly cabochon from an old necklace, hand-painted fairy doors and more. A tiny gnome is standing on the bridge serenading his wife and new baby. Or, it could be a different story. A little pup gently guards the baby and small rabbits are on the path too. A little bird lies within a birdbath and a lucky clover sits at one end of the bridge while a chunk of gold is at the other. 
 
You'll find this box fun and full of various details. It's reminiscent of a boho fairytale. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. This box can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back or sit freestanding. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue. 
Please do not pull on objects, as they can be removed with enough force.
