Shadow Box Art - Tea with Bears and a Fairy - assemblage art, mixed media, ooak, handmade.
This box measures at 4.5" x 3.5" and started out as a dark colored wood that I gave a distressed finish and painted a spring green. The box itself is rustic in nature. Trimmed the box with small ephemera and flowers and topped it with a brass drawer pull. Inside is a hand painted mushroom, bumblebees, a cameo cabochon, and a fairy having teatime with two little bears sitting on a gold colored bench. This box is freestanding and not equipped with a hanger but, you can always attach one after you receive it, if needed. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. This piece can be hung with the rope hanger and it's also equipped with a sawtooth hanger on back, but can stand upright all on its own. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue.
Do not pick boxes up by the drawer pull/handle. These are strictly for decoration only.
