This scent brings back memories of winter nights from long ago, whether it be with family or just being alone. In particular, a memory from childhood, too old to still believe in Santa, lying alone in bed, bundled beneath covers because it was freezing cold in the room and just being comforted by past memories and of the knowledge that all was well. It was around midnight on Christmas Eve and my little transistor radio was playing the most beautiful and soothing Christmas choral and cathedral music. I can’t remember what the music was but, just the certain memory that it fulfilled my soul with such peace and sanctity. Whenever there’s stress, I can always revisit that memory in my mind and this fragrance, Tender Night, establishes the gateway for the memory to have scent.
 
This isn’t a sweet scent but, a combo of notes that provide relaxation and reminiscent of calmness during long winter evenings.
