Thanksgiving - cranberry sauce, buttery cornbread dressing, sweet potato, coconut flakes, nutmeg, sage.
 
This scent represents Thanksgiving for me. It contains notes of what a traditional southern Thanksgiving meal would include. After working several versions, this is the one I appreciated the most. This is surprisingly very wearable. At first, I wanted to make a comfort scent for people who want to visualize and smell the scent of traditional Thanksgiving scents year round. But, it turned into something more. I wanted to smell these notes more often so, I made my own body and pillow spray from it, along with a perfume oil too.
 
Cranberry is the sweet tart note here with a little bit of orange. If you’re familiar with dressing made from cornbread, you’ll get  those warm buttery notes with spices of sage and basil and you may connect with the hint of the actual turkey itself. Soft notes of sweet potato sprinkled with nutmeg, brown sugar, cinnamon, and coconut flakes lie softly in the background. This is not the same sweet potato as in the pie though. That’s another scent unto itself.
 
This is a scent for everyone, especially if you appreciate unique gourmand fragrances.
