Wish on a Star Diorama-halloween witch shadow box-halloween art assemblage-witch mixed media
 
This box is 5 x 5 x 1" and is painted a dark purple shade with a lighter fuchsia glitter throughout. The box is trimmed with little orange and green acrylic cabs and the words Wish on a Star are on the box and inside the bottom of the box. The little witch inside has her wand and she's waiting, watching, and hidden among all her potions, baubles, and bubbles. She's a friendly one awaiting the magic of Halloween. She's surrounded by stars, hearts, roses, the moon, and little handmade perfume bottles.
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. It can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back or sit freestanding.
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.
 
The box is equipped with a sawtooth hanger on back but, can sit freestanding on its own as well.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue. 
Please do not pull on objects, as they can be removed with enough force.
